Ate-eletaaba Women Group

Yorogo basket weavers known as ATE-ELETAABA baskets weavers which literally means supporting one another was formed in 1990 as a women group with the aim of fostering unity among themselves and supporting each other financially. The formation of these groups were speared by four of their sons namely: Parick Atu-o,Solomon Akakiya,Gilbert Ayimbire and David Abole Atule. Having their handwork as baskets weaving, they decided to name the group as ATE-ELETAABA BASKETS WEAVERS after three years of deliberations. In year 1995, the group played an active part in the formation of the mother Cooperative BOLGA BASKETS COOPERATIVE CLUB. SPECIAL BASKETS WOVEN BY YOROGO WEAVERS
